arl received his Bachelor's degree in Biology from University of California at Davis in 2004. In 2007, he received his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Carl was on the dean's list at Loyola and received a Loyola Scholar Scholarship. During law school he also worked as a legal intern at the California Department of Transportation. Carl was admitted to the California Bar in November 2007.
