Mr. D'Oro attended Pepperdine Law School where he was a member of the Law Review. He graduated in 1978 and has been involved in an active casualty defense practice ever since. He has developed an expertise in the field of the retail grocery business representing both self insured and insured clients. His practice spans corporate retailers to smaller independent chains.
Mr. D'Oro has achieved positive results that are cost effective by demonstrating a working knowledge of the industry and the applicable standards of care. His experience spans the standard premises liability claim to excessive force, discrimination and ADA compliance. The scope of his representation includes developing strategies that result in insurance coverage from other sources, cumis representation and pre-litigation claims review.
In addition to representing retailers, Mr. D'Oro has also successfully represented public entities in a variety of claims ranging from road design cases to section 1983 Civil Rights Claims.
Mr. D'Oro has tried multiple cases to jury verdict and is currently a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is admitted to practice before both Federal and State Courts. He is a long time member of the Los Angeles County Bar association and the Associate of Southern California Defense Counsel.
His hobbies include coaching Little League baseball and restoring antique cars.
