Jason R. Bettendorf was born on December 2, 1974 in Covina, California. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University at Fullerton in 1997. From there, he went on to earn a Juris Doctor degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2000. Jason is an active member of the State Bar of California and is also admitted to the State Bar of Colorado.
