Ms. Hyde has volunteered as a Judge Pro Tem for Los Angeles County in Traffic Court and Small Claims for over 20 years. She is also an experienced mediator, and has served as a Daily Settlement Officer in Pasadena Superior Court. She had her own Family Law and Trusts & Estate Practice in Monrovia, CA for a number of years. She started her legal career in Insurance Defense Litigation thirty years ago and is happy to be finishing up her career in the same area of law. She has handled litigation in matters as diverse as marital and child support litigation, probate litigation, complex construction defects litigation, auto accident practice and asbestos defense litigation.
She graduated from Brigham Young University in 1979 with a BA in English Literature. She graduated cum laude from Southwestern University School of Law in 1987 with a Juris Doctorate degree and served on the Law Review. She is a member of the California Bar, Los Angeles County Bar and Pasadena Bar. Ms. Hyde is licensed to practice before all the courts of the state of California as well as the United States District Court, Central District of California.
